Introduction to Biblical Counselling + Community Counselling School



   FCM goals

   1. Impartation of Vision
   The students will have a vision to pass their healing on to others.

   2. Personal Development
   - Character Development
   - Restoration of the inner person
   - The discovery and encouragement of their giftings
   - The maturation in relationship skill.

   3. Skill Development
   The ability to extress warmth, respect and empathy in personal interactions:
   - Active listening skills
   - Listening prayer
   - Exercising influence through intercession.

   4. Cognitive Development
   A Biblical understanding of:
   - The work of the cross.
   - God's Grace.
   - God's character
   - Christian counselling.   - Identity in Christ.
   - Cross-cultural counselling.
   - Giftings.
   - Repentance and forgiveness.
   - God's intention for our personalities.

   5. Ministry Develpment Opportunities
   To impact the world with what they have learned and experienced. Having concrete opportunities for ministry or further training.


   Prerequisites

   Completion of the Discipleship Training School (DTS) and field assignment or Crossroads DTS and field assignment.


   Credits

   20 - 24 credits will be earned upon successful completion of the school.
