The Teachers of the Nations’ goal is to empower girls in South Africa through education and provide them with the necessary skills for financial independence and successful lives. We desire to see girls living the life God predestined for them with a healthy self-concept and giving back to their communities.
Teachers of the Nations is looking for volunteers who are willing to come and serve in Worcester, South Africa for a minimum of one academic term which generally lasts three months. Our programs include weekly activities as well as seasonal events such as camps.
Teachers of the Nations runs weekly programs offering Tuesday discipleship classes directed towards building girls self-esteem and their self-concept thru Christ, while raising up leaders in this present generation. Thursdays, we offer tutorials in math, English, music, and soccer.
We would also like to offer counseling services, so anyone trained in family counseling, child psychology, or any of the mental health professions is welcomed.
Our Tuesday classes and holiday camps offer training in the arts and job skills including sewing, crocheting, dance, drama, voice, drums, and piano. If you any artistic talent and professional expertise, please be sure to contact us. Week long master classes are also welcome.
