Redeeming Cultures for Community Development - RCCD (CAS 121/122)

The purpose of this school is to equip and multiply communication missionaries working at the ministry, base, region and global levels. Is God calling you or someone at your location to join us for this important school?

Students will learn from experienced missionary and professional communicators and much hands-on training.

- Foundations: Worldview, history and perspectives of missions, ethics, integrity, the creative process, and new developments
- Team: Discovering individual gifts, callings and strengths, collaboration, working with leaders, relating virtually (around the world)
- Research: Surveys, focus groups, and in-depth fact-finding
- Story/Journalism: Elements of a good story, writing, interviewing, and journalistic practices
- Visual/Technical communication: Photography, video and audio production, design, web development and impacting society through communication campaigns.
- New Media/Audience Orientation: Security issues, communicating with different audiences, podcasting, social networking, and the Grassroots News strategy
- Public Relations and Development: Public speaking, media relations, crisis communication, fundraising, and event management

Credits

ICN is currently in the process of registering this school with University of the Nations as a 12-credit course.

School Fees

R9500 (Nine thousand and five hundred Rand) - We are doing everything possible to make partial scholarships available; application for financial assistance can be requested after being accepted as a student.
