We will be offering a TESOL course here at YWAM Worcester beginning on Wednesday, July 29 and ending Wednesday, September 2. The instructor is Doug Sadler from Providence College in Canada and YWAM Winnipeg. The course will last 5 weeks and will cover the methods and techniques of teaching the four basic language skills and the theories undergirding these methods. This course includes both lectures and a practicum where the students will be applying what they learn in an actual English Language School. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a TESOL certificate from University of the Nations.
The cost of the course is R6300 for tuition, accommodation, and food and R1200 for books plus a $50 registration fee for singles ($75 for couples). This amount is due on the first day of classes.
Please visit our website at http://www.ywamworcester.com/ to download an application. You can submit your applications via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The course is open to non-native English speakers who are able to provide proof of sufficient proficiency in the English language. The school is limited to only 10 students though, so apply soon!
