This past weekend we had the privilege to celebrate YWAM Worcester’s 30th anniversary.
This was a great time of meeting up with staff and students from years gone by: sharing stories and testimonies, and most of all giving God the glory for all the things He has done.
The celebrations started the afternoon with a lunch out on the original YWAM farm base, currently called the Reeds country Lodge christian retreat, and moved over to the evening celebration at the current YWAM Worcester base in town. Visitors had the opportunity to have a tour of both facilities. Part of the evening celebration included a short video clip of the history of YWAM Worcester, explaining how and when the work started as well as the move to town and the vision for the future. You can also watch it by clicking here.
The evening event was also broadcast live, and it was such a blessing to have people from all over the world join in, watch and comment as the evening progressed. This recording is also available on our Facebook page.
It seems fit to end off with the words of the well know hymn; TO GOD BE THE GLORY, GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE!
