This has been such an amazing year so far here at YWAM Worcester with around 30 nationalities from around the world joining together to know God and to make Him known. Add three outreach teams from Hawaii, Korea and Australia and you have a great opportunity, not only to meet people from around the globe, but also to share the love of Jesus with the local community.
Currently we have the Foundations for Counseling Ministry School, English Language School as well as the Classic DTS running on the base. We are four weeks into the lecture phase with different topics being covered every week. The result is students that are growing in their relationship and knowledge of God and also being challenged to share with others what God has shown them. Part of the lecture phase also incorporates practical ministry times and the students have been going out into the community to share the love of Jesus in different ways.
One of our staff members also recently capitalized on the lovely summer weather and organized a youth event out on the YWAM Worcester lawn. She invited young people from the community and together they worshiped Jesus, shared the Word and just generally had some fun together.
