This past weekend we had the privilege to host a ministry camp here at YWAM Worcester. About 60 young people from Kraaifontein , Paarl , Khayelitsha and as far as Malmesbury gathered together on the base. YWAMers had the opportunity to share during the different sessions over the weekend and there were even testimonies of some giving their lives to Jesus.

Apart from the weekend camp there has also been two visiting outreach teams staying on the base. There is a team from Switzerland that has been reaching out in different areas in the Worcester community. Their ministry has included helping at various children’s ministries, going to schools and helping with food distribution to those in need. Their time here  on the base has not however just been reaching out as they have also had times of teaching, refreshing and receiving input from the YWAMers.

The other team that is currently staying on the base is part of a DTS outreach team from Australia. The focus of their school and their outreach as well is anti-human trafficking
