2015 has started and as a base we have an expectancy to see God’s Kingdom grow as we continue to follow Jesus and allow His kingdom to be established not only in Worcester, but in Africa and throughout the World.
Although the base enjoyed a holiday break over December there were still exciting things happening in and around the base. One of these was an outreach team from the USA that stayed on the base during the holidays and reached out to the community and surrounding areas.
Some of our staff members have also been running the “Teen Movement” camp (check out the video clip) as they call themselves, with teenagers from the base, Worcester town and as far as Cape town. The two week camp started with the first week of lectures and the second week is dedicated to outreach. The youngsters have been reaching out with dance and drama in our local community, visiting the TB hospital and will even be going to Cape town this Saturday to do an open air on one of the beaches.
Lastly we are exited about the new term and the schools that will be running. With about 80 students and 30 plus nationalities on the base we are looking forward to a life changing term not only for the students but for all of us as staff as well.
