Investing in leaders and helping to lay a good foundation to work from recently came under the spotlight here on the YWAM Worcester base, and with that in mind the leadership decided to run a leadership development workshop to equip, support and encourage not only young leaders but also those that have already been in ministry but feel that this would be of benefit to them.
The workshop was open for staff and students that could set apart the time during their busy schedules. The idea is to have a smaller group of about 12-14 participants that could discuss and process topics together and in so doing learn not only from the leaders but from one one another.
Students meet once a week for eleven weeks for one and a half hour sessions and also have prescribed books that needs to be read and reported back on.
