YWAM Worcester has been blessed throughout the years with growing numbers. From initially about 15 people when they started the base in the old Worcester Hospital we are now hosting 120 full time staff and each year we see between 300-400 students from about 30-40 different Nations going through our different training courses. We offer a big variety of courses that are all accredited with the international University Of The Nations (UofN). As our campus has reached it’s accommodation and class room facilities we are unable to grow any further at this stage. Yet more students want to come and yet new courses are planned to be started on our campus. To be able to have an even bigger influence and impact on even more students and staff, we are planning to build a new double story building on our premises. The new building will be able to accommodate 80 people in rooms of 4 and rooms of 2. Also it will provide one class room and enable us to release two more class rooms that currently are being used for accommodation purposes. Once the building is up and running, a percentage of the total income will flow into a scholarship fund so that we can enable more students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds to receive our training. Right now the plans are with the engineer and we are waiting for them to be handed over to the municipality to be approved soon.
