Last week we had the privilege to have John Dawson, one of the founding elders of YWAM and former president of YWAM international, speaking to the YWAMers in the Western Cape. On Monday the YWAM Worcester base went through to Muizenberg where we all met together in one of the local churches with the staff and students from YWAM Muizenberg and Media Village. On Wednesday we had the opportunity to host John at the Worcester base. He spoke to our staff and students during the morning session and inspired us through stories of what God is doing in the mission. The afternoon we invited the leaders from the other YWAM bases in the Western Cape, and we had a social time together, enjoying fellowship and learning from John’s vast experience in the mission.
Last week Thursday also happened to be Heritage day or “braai day” as some may call it in South Africa. As YWAMers we spent a lovely afternoon together enjoying fellowship and a delicious braai meal together. Check out the photos below….
